Benidipine is a triple calcium channel blocker (inhibiting l-, n-, and t-type channels), causing vasodilation of both coronary and peripheral arteries and improving blood flow. Telmisartan is an angiotensin ii receptor blocker (arb) that selectively antagonizes the at1 receptor, preventing angiotensin ii-mediated vasoconstriction and aldosterone release, resulting in reduced blood pressure and decreased cardiovascular risk

Common side effects of benidipine include fatigue, sleepiness, flushing (warmth in the face, ears, neck, and trunk), headache, dizziness and nausea
Benidipine and telmisartan work together to lower blood pressure by relaxing and widening blood vessels. Benidipine blocks calcium channels to ease blood flow, while telmisartan blocks a hormone that tightens vessels. This combo helps reduce the risk of heart attacks and strokes by making it easier for the heart to pump blood
