Rosuvastatin + aspirin is a proven, evidence-based dual therapy for atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease (ascvd) prevention. When used together, rosuvastatin amplifies the cholesterol-lowering and plaque-stabilizing effects, while aspirin offers antiplatelet protection. The combination provides synergistic risk reduction for heart attacks, stroke, coronary heart disease, and heart failure, and is more protective than aspirin alone or aspirin plus other statins.

Rosuvastatin inhibits hmg-coa reductase, reducing cholesterol, slowing plaque progression, and lowering ldl/tg. Aspirin blocks platelet aggregation and offers antithrombotic benefits. In combination, both drugs provide lipid lowering, anti-atherosclerotic, and anti-thrombotic effects.
