Goodova l contains letrozole, an aromatase inhibitor has been used as a potential therapy for ovulation induction. A large number of clinical evidences have been emerging which cite the beneficial role of letrozole in conditions like anovulatory infertility, polycystic ovary syndrome (pcos), unexplained infertility and an incipient role in endometriosis- related infertility with regards to higher live-birth rates.

Ovulation induction
Hot flushes are most common. Other side effects are nausea, headaches, bloating, muscle aches, blurred vision and fatigue. They can occur in approximately 10 to 20% of patients and are limited to that cycle.
Letrozole is a non-steroidal aromatase inhibitor that works by preventing the enzyme aromatase from converting androgens into estrogens. Letrozole has also
been shown to be effective at inducing ovulation in infertility patients.
